What is a single-shell roof

The single-skin roof is a standard roof on most residential buildings. As the name suggests, roof protection is just one shell. It is a rule that this type of roof is not made up of one, but at least two different materials, the individual layers of which must be perfectly suited to each other. Each of the materials fulfills another function on the roof. It is important that the single-skin roof is watertight, has sufficient heat and mechanical resistance and has a long service life.
