What is an anhydrite screed

Anhydrite screed is used to create internal floors. It is the last non-adhesive layer to be placed on carpet, parquet, tile or floating floor. Due to the liquid nature of the screed, working with it is very easy and fast, since it is not necessary to approach the surface of the floor. Even today, anhydrite screeds have virtually replaced cement screeds.

An anhydrated floor can be walked within 24 hours of application. However, laying a parquet or floating floor needs to wait for another 5 days.
