What is PVC?

PVC is the abbreviation for polyvinyl chloride. It's one of the most used plastic materials in the world.  The primary raw material for PVC production is the volatile vinyl chloride gas. This polymer blends with various additives to improve its properties such as thermal stability, UV and heat resistance. Fillers, plasticizers or stabilizers are used.

Unpainted PVC is used for pipes, profiles, plates and containers.Plasticized PVC is used for foils, protective gloves, cables, floor coverings, hoses, respirators, etc. More than half of PVC production goes to the construction industry.
